On November 21 and 22, the 333 Experience Congress LATAM 2023 took place at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center in Medellín (Colombia). The opening ceremony, led by Xavier Salamó, CEO of 333 Corporate, Reinaldo Cubillos, Managing Director of 333 Latam, and María del Carmen Otero, President of the Board of Directors of Porkcolombia, marked the beginning of the congress.
Eight panels were held over the course of the two-day technical program with the participation of Latin American moderators, experts, and managers who were able to share their experiences and knowledge as protagonists of the industry, addressing key issues in business management, productivity, efficiency, economy, sustainability, leadership, and human resources management. In addition, eleven sessions were held with international speakers, covering areas such as sustainability, health, nutrition, management, and reproduction.
The workshops were structured with different dynamic and innovative methodologies, providing spaces for co-creation and interaction, facilitating enjoyable learning, providing updated knowledge, and promoting collaboration among the participants. The commercial presentations were marked by the participation of renowned companies and ample spaces where attendees and exhibitors were able to network.
More than 1,300 in-person attendees (60% national and 40% international) attended the congress and more than 200 virtual attendees followed the congress online. Companies actively involved in panels, workshops, and conferences at the congress represented about 1,000,000 sows (more than 50% of the total sow herd).
The conference ended with "Pigfest," where attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors gathered to enjoy the performance of a local band.
Finally, we would like to thank the sponsors for their confidence in 333 Latin America and highlight their crucial role in organizing events that create opportunities to strengthen the union and confidence in the Latin American swine industry.
See you in Costa Rica in 2024!
