From now on, you can check, at 333, the daily price of live pigs in South Korea, an important market bearing in mind that it is the fourth pork producer in Asia after China, Vietnam and The Philippines and it is among the 10 main pig producers in the world.

You can check the prices in South Korea since January 2018 easily in our "Pig prices" section.

Although the price is shown in the South Korean currency and with its domestic characteristics, our system allows you to convert the price to other currencies and units so you can compare between countriess.

The average price in South Korea last year was KRW4,357/kg (€3.36/kg; USD3.96/kg), which is higher than the average in 2019, so far, that is KRW3,994/kg (€3.05/kg: USD3.42/kg), although we must highlight the strong rise in mid-September, when KRW6,201/kg (€4.07/kg; USD5.21/kg) were reached, an increase that coincides with the confirmation of the first ASF cases in the country.
