Postdoctoral Research Associate at Iowa State University, coordinating the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) Outbreak Management Program (https://fieldepi.org/pomp/).
Has active research and extensions activities focused on identifying PRRSV outbreak impacts given specific herd characteristics, biosecurity and bio-management practices, and health interventions on terms of key production indicators.
Has active research in traditional concepts of epidemiology and infectious diseases, biosecurity applied to livestock systems, disease management, diagnostic data, surveillance, and field-aplied epidemiology studies.
Current work can provide expertise in new technologies and applications for study design, data collection, analysis, summarization, and visualization applied to animal health.
Work experience in leading research in controlled and field settings, managing and supervising research associates, and teaching undergraduate, and graduate student levels.
