Supplementary training: MSc degrees and courses on environmental management (water, energy, emissions, waste, products of animal origin not intended for human consumption, etc.), and green chemistry.
She was born in Huesca and graduated from the Polytechnic University of Huesca (Spain). From the beginning, her career has been linked to the stockbreeding sector, working for several companies and with many professionals in the development of products and protocols both for water treatment and the cleaning and disinfection of premises.
In 2005 she founded her environmental engineering and management consultancy together with her partner Pilar Martínez-Raposo, who is a veterinarian, offering their assessment and farm design services.
Among their clients we can find large animal production companies (fowl, pigs, cattle), cooperatives, independent producers, pharmaceutical companies, feed mills, chemical products companies (biocides and detergents) and national and international organisms.
In the last years, HdosO has grown, and it currently has seven professionals with training in Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Veterinary Science/Medicine and Industrial Engineering, and it has expanded its lines of business, offering its environmental and engineering assessment services to the industrial and institutional sectors.
Avelina Bellostas acquires and shares knowledge, is a member of several professional and business associations and committees, publishes articles in several specialised journals and participates in many national and international conferences.
