Carlos Martins

Carlos Martins is a passionate, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional who helps producers around the world to solve sow and piglet management challenges. He holds a degree in Animal Husbandry Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia da Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal, 2007) and a Master in Animal Production from the University of Lisbon (Portugal, 2009), presenting the thesis "Effect of brewers grain on intestinal microbial activity and mucosa morphology of weaned piglets".

The first phase of his professional career was spent in Portugal and the Netherlands, where he continued to gain relevant knowledge and experience while being responsible for KPIs in different companies. In 2017, he joined Hypor as a farm specialist for all genetic nuclei. In 2018, he started as Technical Service Manager, working closely with customers in several countries, focusing especially on sow and piglet management with one goal: to improve technical results in a simple and efficient way. Since 2022, he has had the role of coordinating Hypor's global technical service, working on different projects to further increase the technical visibility of the company.
