Universidad Complutense de Madrid - Spain AuthorShe obtained her Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the Veterinary Faculty in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2009-2014).
In September-2014, she joined the team of Professor Jose Manuel Sanchez-Vizcaino in order to do her doctoral thesis in African swine fever (ASF).
Her PhD is focused on African swine fever, specially dedicated to epidemiological studies, risk factor identification and risk assessment studies. In addition to this, she works at the OIE reference laboratory for ASF leaded by Prof. Sanchez-Vizcaino. As part of her work, she performs laboratory techniques as well as participates in the validation and research of new diagnostic techniques for ASF.
Since 2014, she has participated in different national and international congress, and teaching courses about ASF in Spain and different parts of the world.
