Grzegorz Wozniakowski
Nicolaus Copernicus University - Poland AuthorProfessor Grzegorz Wozniakowski was born in 1982 in Pulawy, Poland. He has a PhD and DSc degree in veterinary sciences focused on veterinary virology. In May 2020 he received a scientific title of a full professor of agricultural sciences in the discipline of veterinary science. He worked for almost 14 years in the National Veterinary Research Institute in Puławy. During this time period he was involved in scientific study focused on poultry and swine diseases, including Marek's disease virus, avian adenoviruses, waterfowl parvo- and circovirus, as well as African swine virus, porcine epidemic diarrhoea, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome and porcine circovirus type 2. He was Head of Swine Diseases department from 2018 until November 2020. He is the author of 77 scientific papers from Journal and Citation Reports list. In November 2020 he moved to the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń to continue his scientific career in the Department of Diagnosis and Clinical Sciences.
