Guillermo Ramis Vidal
University of Murcia - Spain AuthorHe was born in Vigo (Pontevedra) in 1968. He obtained his degree in Veterinary Medicine / Science from the University of Murcia in 1993, and became a PhD in Veterinary Medicine / Science and obtained the Doctorate with distinction award also from the University of Murcia in 2002. He obtained his Diploma from the European College of Porcine Health and Management in 2006.
He has worked exclusively in the swine industry for more than 12 years. Currently he is Associate Professor at the Animal Production Department at the University of Murcia, teaching for the Veterinary Medicine / Science degree and the Professional and Scientific Swine Production Master degree (he is also his coordinator) of the University of Murcia.
He belongs to the investigation group “Animal Breeding and Health” since 1997 and to the group “New alternatives to transplantation, chemical and experimental tolerance. Organ donation” since 2006. He is coauthor of more than 50 international articles published and more than 75 articles published in science spreading magazines, as well as several chapters in books and full books.
