Hedera - Spain AuthorThe son and grandson of Catalan farmers, I was born in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda in 1965. Being a farmer brought me to becoming a veterinarian (UAB 1983 -1989) and now, as a veterinarian, I aim to help farmers improve.
1990 - 2000 comprehensive management of the family farm, I have a real passion for farm management and spent 10 years learning from my mistakes on the daily life of the farm.2000 - 2005 I am able to see the fruits of my vocation as a trainer upon begin work for the Sus Scrofa Barceló Foundation teaching courses in livestock management. This was 5 years of hard work surrounded by some fellow exceptional travelers.
As of 2005 - solo career as a comprehensive advisor to pig farms. Specialist in custom-designed practical training, provided to the farms of customers (over 20 farms in the Spanish provinces and also in Portugal, Italy and Colombia).
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at UAB since 2006, also at the UDL School of Agricultural Engineering in 2010 and professor in the Master of Swine Health and Production faculty since its 1st edition.
I owe nothing but respect and gratitude to the farmers and technicians whom I learn from every day and I offer honesty, generosity and work to those who believe that they can learn from me.
