Geneticist at Hypor – Hendrix Genetics - Spain AuthorDegree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Extremadura (Spain, 2011), Master's in Animal Genetic Improvement and Reproductive Biotechnology from the Politechnical University of Valencia and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain, 2013), and Ph.D. in Animal Production from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain, 2017).
In the first phase of his professional career, from 2017 to 2020, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at INRAE and AgroParisTech (France), developing research projects related to improving swine production.
In 2020, he joined Hendrix Genetics, located in the Netherlands, as a geneticist, working on genotypes and genomic evaluations in animal breeding (swine, turkey, layers, poultry, salmon, shrimp, and trout)
Since 2022 he has been part of the team of geneticists at Hypor (Hendrix Genetics), one of the world's leading suppliers of swine genetics. In this position, he is responsible for improving swine lines through continuous genetic improvement for the swine supply chain (producers, processors, retailers, and consumers).
