He was born in Sassuolo (Modena) in 1962. He graduated as an Agricultural Engineer from the I.T.A.S. Antonio Zanelli, in Reggio Emilia, in 1981.

Since 1984 he looks after pigs, and works on a farrow-to-finish pig farm, running the handling of the sows.

He has participated in several training, production, handling and management courses regarding pig farms, both in Italy and abroad.

Currently, he publishes technical and practical advice in the Internet, in an amateur pig producers’ forum.
