María Rodríguez

ADA - Animal Data Analytics - Spain Author

María Rodríguez is an Agricultural Engineer from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and Doctor in Agricultural Engineering also from the UPM. She worked as a staff member in charge of research projects at the Department of Animal Physiology of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid from March 2013 to February 2018. As of March 2018, she has worked in the Department of Project Management and R&D of ADA - Animal Data Analytics (PigCHAMP Pro Europa). Her current work is focused on the sustainable use of trace elements in animal production programmes, although she also participates in carrying out several field trials, including conducting protocols, the field trial itself, and the subsequent analysis of the data obtained and preparation of final reports.

As for her research work, she has published several articles in research journals and has participated in several national and international conferences. She recently received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award granted by UPM.

In this trial we used 34 sows in batch 1 (9 primiparous and 23 multiparous) and 35 sows in batch 2 (4 primiparous and 31 multiparous).
