Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Pelotas (2007).

Master in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Pelotas (2011) with a specialization in Animal Reproduction, developing work in the area of production and reproduction in pigs.

Doctor in Veterinary Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2014), with a specialization in Reproduction Physiopathology. Doctoral thesis work developed in the area of swine reproduction.

Completed a PhD at the Department of Animal Science at the University of Illinois - United States (2013). Post-doctorate was performed at the Federal University of Pelotas (2014) in the area of bovine reproduction and embryo production.

He has been a professor of Animal Reproduction at the Veterinary School of the University of the Republic of Uruguay.

He is currently an adjunct professor at the Veterinary School of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), developing teaching, research, and extension activities in swine production and reproduction. He acts as an advisor in the Graduate Program in Veterinary Sciences at UFRGS.
