Born in Cartagena (Murcia, Spain) in 1989. Graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of León in 2015. Did a year-long stay in Mexico with the Amicus Scholarship.
After finishing my degree, and experiencing the world of small animals in several clinics in Cartagena and Caravaca de la Cruz, I worked for the Association of Sanitary Defense of pigs in Fuente Alamo de Murcia (ADESPOFA), for 3 years (2016-July 2019).
After my position as technical manager of the association, I decided to focus on the world of swine production, obtaining a position in Agropecuaria Casas Nuevas, Grupo Francés (Fuente Álamo) as a production veterinarian, working in both phases of swine production (breeding sows and nursery/finishing) for three years.
Currently, I have been working as a Technical Veterinary Advisor for swine at Boehringer Ingelheim for one year. Regarding continuing education, I would like to mention the Veterinary Audits in Biosecurity Course and Animal Welfare in Intensive Livestock Farms.
