Salvador Calvet

University Professor. He focuses his research on the field of livestock and the environment. He works both with competitive research projects and through contracts with companies and administrations. His most recent research focuses on the use of precision livestock applied to environmental and production monitoring of various species. He has published more than 50 articles in prestigious international journals and regularly participates in national and international congresses in his area of study. From 2017 to 2022 he was the coordinator of the REMEDIA Network (Scientific network for climate change mitigation in the agroforestry sector). He collaborates with researchers from leading national and international centers in livestock and environment. He is currently the director of the Institute of Animal Science and Technology (ICTA) of the Technical University of Valencia.
