Wayne Cast

Genus PIC - United States Author

Nutrition Specialist at PIC North America comes with over 40 years of experience in the swine and feed industry, both domestically and internationally.

Wayne received his B.S and M.S. degrees from the University of Nebraska focusing on swine nutrition. He started his career working in the live production side of the business. Since then, Wayne’s time has been largely spent developing cost effective feeding programs, acting as technical support to sales staff, and training and developing people. Before joining PIC NA, Wayne worked as Director of Nutritional Services for NutriQuest and, previous to that, Director of Nutrition for Premium Standard Farms, a Missouri-based swine company that produced over 4 million pigs per year. In addition to his nutritionist responsibilities, Wayne was responsible for three feed mills producing over 800,000 tons of feed annually.

Wayne joined PIC NA in June 2016 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge about practical cost effective feeding programs. He is solution-driven and has worked with many PIC customers over the years.
