3rd Fatty Pig conference

Many of you know already that we are going to organize the 3rd Fatty Pig conference this November in Hungary. One year ago we could not guarantee that we would be able to have the meeting but fortunately some kind sponsors and mainly the Ministry of Agriculture recognized our intention as priority fitting properly in the governmental Pig Strategy.

It means we warmly welcome you in our institute at the date see above.

We want to broaden the topics to new fatty pig breeds and want to give floor for young scientists nevertheless I do hope you will meet old friends, as well. Scientific fields listed in program are not modified very much but information coming from presentations will be supposedly new. You can read the program and you can see a couple of empty points where you can propose a few presentations or young colleagues.

Under my signature you see that our institute was reconstructed however location is the same. Our new name is National Agricultural Research and Innovation Center, Research Institute for Animal Breeding, Nutrition and Meat science. Abbreviation NARIC-ATK.

As former time we try to maintain the very modest conference fee and to prepare interesting as well as funny social events. Maybe some of you remember the last ones in 2013  [:-)]   [:-)]  .

Let me tell to you most likely the Fatty Pig Meetings will be organized two years later by our Spanish friends. Iberico pig and products are the real summit of fatty pig sector thus we should visit also to the homeland of Serrano ham.

So our intention to give you this meeting this year in Hungary and you will enjoy scientific program and our hospitality during the staying in our country.
