WOAH Webinar: Risk communication on African swine fever
Since the first case of African swine fever (ASF) in the Americas was reported in July, the main international organizations dedicated to animal health, have been working together to support the region in establishing sanitary measures to stop the spread of the disease.
Within The Global Framework for the Progressive Control of Transboundary Animal Diseases (GF-TADs), an Emergency Management Regional Team was created, with the aim of coordinating and monitoring all the activities during the emergency. This committee under the IICA’s coordination, is launching a series of webinars on the most relevant topics related to ASF.
