Abstract for Oral presentation
Abstract submission is now open. All participants are invited to submit an abstract of their recent work on any of the above topics on PRRSV. The Scientific Committee thanks all applicants who submitted abstracts to be considered for oral presentations by January 31, 2018. All corresponding authors of the selected abstracts will be notified by email in the week of March 1, 2018 of their status.

Poster Preparation Instructions:
- All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters on Monday and Tuesday evening. It is expected that all poster presenters will be available to discuss their research. Poster size is 2.95 feet wide (90 cm) and 3.95 feet (120 cm) high.
- Posters should be set up on Sunday, June 10, and removed at the end of the conference on Tuesday, June 12.
- Tools and materials for putting up posters are available.

Young Veterinarian’s Bursary for IPVS 2018
The International Pig Veterinary Society Congress will offer Young Veterinarian’s Bursaries (¥10,000/each after tax) to six presenting authors of accepted abstracts to be oral presentation for young pig veterinarians (scientists, practitioners, etc.) aged 35 years or less.
The application is open to all citizens; however, in case there are more applications than bursaries, priority will be given to firstly, the enrolled students in universities and research institutions, etc.; and secondly, the citizens of Emerging and Developing Economies as stated in the International Monetary Fund website.
Application instructions and obligatory documentation
- The name and affiliations of the applicant must match the name and affiliations of a presenting author that has submitted his/her abstract (research study, case report, etc.) before the regular submission deadline for abstracts;
- The applicant should be physically present at the Congress, and the award winner must present at closing ceremony in the afternoon of 14th June, 2018;
- Following obligatory documentation should be provided;
- Proof of age ( clear copy of passport indicating date of birth);
- Proof of being active as pig veterinarian (researcher and practitioners) providing an updated curriculum vitae;
- A signed attest in which the applicant confirms that he/she is not being sponsored or covered by any other financial source in order to attend the Congress;
- The bursaries will be granted during closing ceremony at 14th PM, June 2018.
