AgriSyst has signed a letter of intent with Plataforma Kompass, S.L. to establish AgriSyst España, S.L. together. AgriSyst España, S.L. will be based in Catalonia. AgriSyst España, S.L. and its team of local employees will support its Spanish customers in the start-up and usage of PigExpert and other AgriSyst products. This step will give an extra impulse to the activities of AgriSyst in the European pig market, where AgriSyst is already active in 20 countries through its companies and agents.
Commercial Director AgriSyst, Twan van Dijk, explains that the establishment of AgriSyst España, S.L. fits very well with the activities of AgriSyst in other European countries. "In Spain, pig farming has developed strongly in terms of size. After this strong growth phase, we now see a growing need for better management software for the entire pig chain, mobile record keeping and data solutions for precision livestock farming. This means that AgriSyst products, which have already proven themselves in our home markets the Netherlands and Germany, are very well aligned with the needs of Spanish pig farmers and integrations".
