Agromek, which will be held during the period 27th to 30th November (inclusive) will present a total of 237 New Product exhibits including 25 New Product exhibits which are completely new within the EEC.
There will be many star products at Agromek 2012 when the largest agricultural exhibition in Northern Europe opens on 27th November at the MCH Centre Herning in Denmark.
A record number of New Products have been awarded two or three stars. This applies to 91 out of a total of 237 New Product exhibits. In fact, there will be 33 three-star and 58 two-star New Product exhibits. The remaining New Products have attained one star.
Agromek’s Manager Allan Pedersen has stated: “It is very encouraging that we can present so many two-star and three-star New Product exhibits. This proves that Agromek’s exhibitors are extremely active in the development of new machines, implements and other products.”
New Products at Agromek are evaluated, approved and classified by the Agromek New Product Committee. The evaluation and approval criteria are fully accessible to the Public.
Approved products are classified with one, two or three stars.
Two or three stars indicate that the product is new on the market. One star indicates that the product is new from the particular exhibitor but that similar products are already available on the market.
The three-star New Product exhibits will be displayed with information regarding if these are New in Europe or merely New in Denmark. Out of the total of 33 three-star exhibits at Agromek 2012, 25 are New in Europe and 8 are New in Denmark.
The approved New Products will be displayed with a New Product sign and will also be described in New Product Lists in Danish, English and German.
In accordance with the wishes of the relevant exhibitors, four of the total of 237 New Product exhibits will be published at a later date.
Candidates for Agromek Awards
All two-star and three-star New Product exhibits are also candidates in the competition for various Agromek Awards which indicate the expectations of farmers and other users regarding the practical value of each individual product.
The winners of the various Awards will be published on the opening day of the Exhibition on 27th November.

Agromek will be held during the period Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th November (inclusive) On Wednesday the Exhibition is open from 09.00 to 20.00. On the other days the Exhibition is open from 09.00 to 17.00.
