The Chairman of Agromek, General Manager Sten Andersen, Dan Egtved A/S has stated the following:
“I am extremely pleased to discern that there is substantial support within the trade that Agromek shall continue to be held as a November exhibition. We can thus continue to concentrate our efforts towards ensuring that Agromek remains as the largest agricultural exhibition in Northern Europe.”
The Chairman for Agriculture and Food, Martin Merrild, states that he is pleased that a firm course has been established for future Agromek exhibitions.
“For myself and for the majority of other farmers, Agromek is the most important exhibition in our sector. This is due to the fact that everything is collected and coordinated at one venue. It is therefore absolutely positive that Agromek can now concentrate on developing the exhibition so that it can continue to be an important display venue – also on an international basis – for Danish farming and for the Danish agricultural machinery industry.
A clean cut has been made
Among the exhibitors, there is great satisfaction that the decision has been finally taken regarding future exhibition dates.
General Manager Jan Brogger Rasmussen, Lely Scandinavia A/S has stated: “It is a good thing that a clean cut has been made so that we do not have to have further discussions regarding exhibition dates.”
“We now know the dates for Agromek and we provide our full support and stop all further discussion. For our company, Agromek in November 2012 was an enjoyable experience. There was a great atmosphere with numerous new activities and a positive increase in visitor statistics – so we are looking forward to the next Agromek Exhibition.”
The Assentoft Silo A/S company has felt that it does not matter so much that Agromek is held in November or in January.
General Manager Anders Damgaard Nielsen, Assentoft Silo A/S has stated:
“Some years ago, it was possibly more important for us that the exhibition was held in January. Today, our customers operate with far more long-sighted projects so it is no longer so important when the exhibition is held. We can easily accept that Agromek is to be held in November.”
