At Agromek 2012 in November we will again have the opportunity to study and compare the complete range of machines and equipment for fieldwork and livestock farming and for the entire green sector.
The time limit for stand applications has actually expired. However, the Agromek Secretariat is still receiving new daily enquiries for stand space.
Exhibition Manager Jan Tjornelunde stated: “We anticipate that the Exhibition will be one of the largest we have experienced, as was the case in 2010 – with 13 exhibition halls extending over 70,000 square metres. In 2010, we inaugurated the new “Box” hall. We will require the new hall again this year when we also have the entire dairy machine sector at the Exhibition. This will be the first time since 2008 that all manufacturers of dairy machines and milking equipment will exhibit at Agromek.”
Jan Tjornelunde also explained that many exhibitors of special field implements have asked for larger stands in order to present their products.
The Chairman of the Agromek Exhibition Committee, Managing Director Sten Andersen, Dan Egtved A/S is also pleased by the considerable support that is shown for Agromek 2012.
A strong Agromek
While the stand applications continue to pour in, the work involved in product development for Agromek – based on ideas and inspiration from the exhibitors – continues at full force.
Sten Andersen continued: “We have formed a committee of exhibitors from all sectors represented at Agromek. Later on, we will include ideas and inspiration from our visitors. The idea is to reinforce Agromek by maintaining and expanding a strong exhibition which both the exhibitors and our visitors will find to be attractive and innovative.”
This is a permanent committee which has recently held its first meeting.
“We hope that all exhibitors and visitors will contribute with good ideas for the continued reinforcement of Agromek.”
Sten Andersen also wished that the exhibitors would be even more involved and that they would feel that they take part in decision making.
Agromek will also further its marketing efforts. This will include increased advertising.
