AlltechCreating security and stability, jobs are one of the cornerstones of communities. Encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit ignites passion and engagement for the visionary, as well as for the employees and partners around them. Particularly in troubled economic times that call for fresh ideas, developing unique career opportunities requires the innovation and unfettered charisma of entrepreneurs to take an idea from conception to reality while harnessing the talent of their employees. During GLIMPSE 2020, the 29th Annual Alltech International Symposium in Lexington, Ky., May 19-22, participants will discuss the most important element of economic success - the human resource - and the future of job and market innovation.

“The role of the entrepreneur in today’s technologically-driven society is more important than ever,” said Nathan Hohman, chief operations officer for Alltech and chairperson of the Entrepreneurship session. “Entrepreneurs’ ideas must stand out in the crowd of clutter to become actionable realities. We must understand how to identify these individuals and cultivate their talents.”

The Symposium’s Entrepreneurship and Job Creation sessions will illustrate the opportunities that abound and provide practical guidance on how best to harness the power of people. Whether determining how to utilize the rising stars of an organization or uncovering the next big idea, industry moguls that epitomize success will share their stories and perspectives.

“Creating attractive jobs and fostering talent from an early age is paramount to the development of society,” said Mike Castle, chief legal officer for Alltech and chairperson of the Job Creation session. “Listening to, valuing and challenging your workforce have lasting positive effects on both the community and the bottom line.”

Entrepreneurship and Job Creation discussion topics include:

  • The Ripple Effect of a Job
  • Innovation Competitions
  • The Henry Ford Formula
  • Jobs: Lessons from the Master, Steve Jobs
  • The Best Opportunities, The Best People
  • A World of Dissatisfaction, a World of Reinvention: Fostering Entrepreneurship
  • Venture Capital: Does Your Company Have a Venture Capital Fund?
  • Identifying Entrepreneurs

New in 2013, Alltech International Symposium delegates will have the opportunity to select breakout session tracks. These tracks, as opposed to traditional species or subject breakouts, will offer attendees a more holistic experience in which they take part in discussions ranging from algae and nutrition to crisis management and marketing.
