TOPIGS is pleased to announce the appointment of André Costa MSc as General Manager of TOPIGS do Brasil with effect from 1 August 2013.
Mr Costa (43) has broad experience in pig breeding and the pig industry in Brazil. Over the past 18 years he has held various positions in pig genetics. André Costa has worked for TOPIGS since 2010 as a geneticist and technical manager.
In his new position André hopes to contribute to the further development of TOPIGS in Brazil. "Taking over the general management position of a company like TOPIGS is both a challenge and a big opportunity. We will continue providing our customers with solutions in genetics that maximise economic results of the swine production chain. Our goal is that when the pork producer thinks about efficiency, the first thing that comes to his mind is TOPIGS do Brasil.’’
