One of the lines, the db.77® is specially selected to produce top quality pigs with Dutch maternal lines for finishing in the Netherlands and Germany.The db.77® is a stress negative (NN) Piétrain boar with a dominant market share in his home country. More than 1.200 db.77® boars are productive at AI stations around Germany. Together responsible for annual sales of around 2.2 million doses of semen: a market share of 22% in Germany. Offspring of this boar is renowned for vitality, high growth rate, feed conversion and excellent meat quality.
