Peter VRISK (SI), Christian PEES (FR), Patrick McLOUGHLIN (IR) and Eduardo BAAMONDE (SP) were respectively elected 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Vice-Presidents. In addition, Thomas MAGNUSSON (SE) has been appointed as Coordinator of Cogeca Presidency Business For a Paolo BRUNI is vice-president of Conserve Italia and President of Apo Conerpo – the biggest EU producer organisation in the fruit and vegetable sector in the Emilia-Romana region. At national level he is the President of Fedagri-Confcooperative since April 2000. Since November 2005, he has been Vice-President of Cogeca and since 2007 he was 1st Vice-President.
Peter VRISK is President of the Cooperative Union of Slovenia (since 1996). He runs a 20
hectare family farm producing cereals, vegetables and fattening cattle.
Christian PEES is President of the Euralis Group since 2000. He maintains several other
functions in the French cooperative organisations.
Patrick McLOUGHLIN is President of ICOS since June 2008. He runs a mixed dairy farm,
including a commercial dairy herd of eighty cows.
Eduardo BAAMONDE served as President of Cogeca in the period 2003-2005. Currently he is Director General of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias. He is agronomist by training and he has also studied European policies in Brussels.
Thomas MAGNUSSON is a Member of the Board of Directors of LRF. He runs a family farm (with his son) with beef and milk production, as well as forestry.
