Last week on 3rd and 4th December, 2020, some 70 exhibitors from the EuroTier/Energy Decentral digital 2021 events took the opportunity to connect with over 200 international journalists attending the online-event from 27 countries. Over the two days, which also included a live press conference announcing the EuroTier innovation award winners, 8,000 contact requests, messages, chats, and video calls were made. The video meetings with journalists and exhibitors took place at the new digital platform, designed for “EuroTier/Energy Decentral digital”, which takes place 9th to 12th February and already has 1,400 exhibitor registrations.
The DLG, German Agricultural Society and organiser of the EuroTier and EnergyDecentral trade fairs, developed the digital platform with a focus on easy knowledge-transfer and networking, two objectives that have been the cornerstone of the DLG since 1885, when the society was founded. The new digital events EuroTier/Energy Decentral digital are set to offer the same high-quality professional networking, which the DLG is famous for and which have made both these trade fairs so successful.
“Easy navigation and interactivity have been the key points that have guided the development of this new platform that has been custom-designed to accommodate the interactive needs of thousands of participants. During the media preview last week, feedback from participants was extremely positive with many noting that the platform was both intuitive and made for networking. Participants learnt more about the attractive functions of the digital platform such as a full text search, and they actively employed the wide range of communication options such as chat, audio and video conferences," notes EuroTier/EnergyDecentral digital project manager, Ines Rathke.
"At a trade show, the focus is always on the communication between all participants, and the same focus is reflected on this platform, offering users real-time digital communication formats such as video meeting, streaming and conferencing, as well as chats. In addition, participants can network and thus conveniently exchange their contact details," adds Rathke.
For EuroTier/EnergyDecentral digital held 9th – 12th February 2021, more than 1,400 exhibitors have so far registered at the portal https://eurotier.digital.dlg.org which is still open for more registrations. Exhibitors can be reached in real time via the digital business platform over four days. The platform offers video streams, video conferences and meetings to present their offerings. Visitors can switch from one video broadcast to another with a simple click and participate interactively. Visitor access is priced at a flat rate of 14 euros, and tickets are now available online. Open now, interested visitors can conduct an online-check their computers for the necessary technical requirements (microphone and camera access).
