AnitoxAnitox, a global leader in solutions for safer feed and food, has announced a number of key appointments to its Senior Executive Team to further enable the company to develop new global markets, expand into exciting new sectors and further enhance customer service. Announcing the changes, Dr Rick Phillips, President and Chief Executive Officer of US-based Anitox, stated:

“Anitox is a very dynamic company which has enormous potential for growth throughout the world, both in our established markets and exciting new areas such as the pet food and bio-ethanol sectors. We now have an excellent range of products, strong brands across many global market segments, alongside a stream of very promising new lines coming through Research & Development which will provide future growth for the company, and solutions for customers needs.

"The Executive-level appointments which we are announcing today follow a comprehensive evaluation and reassessment of the business, the catalyst for which was the sheer number and scale of opportunities which are opening up to us. These new positions are the first stage in a process of further intensifying Anitox as a customer-focused business which is at the cutting edge of every sector and country the company operates in.

"In line with our business development strategy we have created a number of highly-defined leadership roles to introduce a harmonised management structure across all of our operating regions. This will significantly enhance our ability to share information and ideas throughout the company, better understand our customers' requirements, allow fast, effective decision making, improve the delivery of products and services throughout world markets, as well as enabling us to initiate a more focused, distinctive marketing approach."

One of two key appointments is that of Roger Mann as Vice President of Commercial Operations. Previously Regional Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific (EMEA), Roger will lead the Commercial Operations Team, which includes Commercial Directors for the company's North America, Latin America, Asia and EMEA regions together with its Head of Engineering, enabling Anitox to deliver a more uniform service throughout the world. Having worked in the agri/food industries for more than 28 years, Roger has extensive experience in business development and driving operational efficiency, together with a strong track record in delivering key business objectives.

Peter, who joined Anitox as Technical Director in 2008 and was promoted to Director of Research & Development in 2011, has over 30 years of R&D experience across a wide range of feed additive and biocide products, together with an impressive record of product development and introduction.

The Senior Executive Team, which also includes Jim Burk (Chief Financial Officer) and Dr. Kurt Richardson (Chief Science Officer), will shortly be further strengthened by the appointment of a Director of Supply Chain & Procurement.
