This specialist event focuses on the primary processing phases of crops and will introduce visitors to leading parties face to face. Despite the limited range on offer, the last edition of VIV Asia in 2009 already attracted a considerable share of more than 4000 visitors from 79 countries representing feed mills, management and operators active in processing raw materials for the feed industry. This group of visitors, predominantly representatives of the major integrations, is expected to even increase in size at the coming event.
Global suppliers
The total of 24 companies that will be presenting the latest technology and knowhow at the Feedtech-Croptech Asia Pavilion includes global players such as Myang Group and Zhengchang Group (China), Buhler Group (Switzerland), Idah Machinery (Taiwan), Amandus Kahl (Germany), Wenger and Chiefs Industries (USA), Skiold (Denmark), Stolz Asia (France), SCE (Belgium), Triumph Engineering (Thailand), Pelleting Technology Nederland and Ottenvanger Milling Engineers (the Netherlands). All suppliers at VIV Asia active in equipment for milling, processing, storage, treatment and handling will be positioned in close proximity to the Feedtech-Croptech Asia Pavilion.
Future market needs
The rapidly growing population, rising prosperity and a focus on food safety throughout Asia requires significant investments in milling equipment for the feed and food sectors. The modernisation, expansion and new building of feed mills are being increasingly driven by the scarcity of raw materials. In response to future market requirements the focus is on the ever advancing technological developments. These developments enable a flexible form of output to be achieved, including processing residual products into useful raw materials such as biofuel.
Conference program
For this reason, Feedtech-Croptech Asia 2011 offers a high quality, two day conference program. On March 9 and 10 expert speakers will be targeting future trends in animal feeds, in cooperation with Watt Publications and on March 9 a conference will be held dedicated to the latest developments and perspectives in Asia regarding bio energy in the palm oil, rice, sugar cane, tapioca and ethanol sectors In addition to the conference program, there is a three day seminar program hosted by exhibitors. The organisers of Feedtech-Croptech Asia 2011 and VIV Asia are N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer (NEO), Thailand, and VNU Exhibitions Europe, the Netherlands. For more information please visit www.viv.net.
