This award is regarded as a quality label by professionals. Innov'Space selects recipients for their expertise and their investment in research and development, and the award is considered a recognition for the work carried out.
One of the main reasons visitors come to SPACE is to discover new products and services (95% of French visitors and 89% of international visitors said that SPACE is the ideal place to discover the latest innovations in the livestock sector).
This year, 160 entries were submitted for review by a panel of experts, independent of the SPACE organisers. 67 were international companies. 47 entries were selected by the panel and were awarded the Innov'Space 2017 label.
More than 40% of the Innov'Space 2017 recipients provide a product or service that improves both productivity and profitability and working conditions for livestock farmers. Innov'Space 2017 labels were also awarded in a number of other sectors, including preventive actions in favour of animal health and welfare, digital technology and IT services to provide farmers with easier access to digital tech and improve working conditions, feed distribution equipment and traceability tools.
