There are several new arrangements which will take place at Agromek 2012 which will be held during the period 27th to 30th November in the MCH Exhibition Centre at Herning, Denmark.
Project Manager and leader of the MCH Agromek Group, Mona Jakobsen, has stated the following: “We will provide test drives of tractors and self-propelled sprayers in an area within the show grounds. We can prepare tracks so that tractors and self-propelled sprayers can be driven and tested.”
The arrangements will also include the establishment of a braking distance track for tractors with trailers. It is also intended that loaders will be demonstrated in areas between the relevant exhibition halls.
Another initiative at Agromek will be the introduction of a “Speaker’s Corner” to facilitate short technical speeches which will be presented several times daily.
Our members – and thus our exhibitors – of the new Agromek product development committee have introduced these new activity arrangements.
Mona Jakobsen continued: “Among the many ideas we are working on is the introduction of a grand opening arrangement for exhibitors, their cooperation partners and their customers. This will be held on Tuesday 27th November. This will be an evening during which it will be possible to combine network activities and entertainment in a single arrangement.”
Mona Jakobsen has presented the new activities to the exhibitors at an Agromek kick-off meeting in the MCH Exhibition Centre, Herning.

Strengthening the international activities
Mona Jakobsen could also add that Agromek is strengthening its international activities. Agromek has established a new cooperation with the Danish Farmers Abroad organisation. The organisation’s members are farmers and companies with activities in other countries.
At the Agromek kick-off meeting, the exhibitors also received inspiration as to how the Exhibition can create a maximum of customer contacts and specific interest for their exhibition stands. Managing Director Kaj Stjernholm, Stjernholm A/S, expounded on his own experience as an exhibitor at Agromek and other exhibitions.
Lecturer and mentality trainer, Søren Holmgren, also provided an entertaining and thought-provoking séance on how it is to be blind in one’s daily life – and yet still retain one’s good humour and be able to see positive aspects.
