The period for abstracts’ submission and also the early bird registration for the 26th IPVS (International Pig Veterinary Society) Congress, which will be held from June 2nd to 5th at the Riocentro Convention Center in city of Rio de Janeiro, end on January 31st.
Known as the World’s most important technical and scientific event of the swine industry, the IPVS2020 will receive new studies from universities and research institutes worldwide in the areas of Viral Diseases, Bacterial Diseases, Parasitic Diseases, Immunology and Vaccinology, Food Safety, Reproduction, Biosecurity, Genetics, Antimicrobials, Welfare, Nutrition, Clinical Cases, Production and Innovation, Miscellaneous and Herd Management. The IPVS2020 will be the largest congress of the swine industry ever held in Brazil with about 3,000 delegates from the five continents. Participants include veterinarians, animal scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and other professionals from the production chain, as well as students, pointed out the IPVS2020 president, Fernanda Almeida.
