The JB6000 is based on the JB5000; a well-known free stall system that has been established in many pig productions – including countries outside Denmark.
Both the JB5000 and the JB6000 allows the sow to move freely around in a common area and with a free access mode of the crates. A sustainable Twin Lock system is the essence of both crates which makes the rear gate close automatically when a sow enters the crate. In that way the Twin Lock system prevents other sows access to an occupied crate. With her own weight, the sow will activate the rear gate to walk out.
The principles of the Twin Lock system have been essential for the crates during the last 10 years – principles that are based on a strong and solid construction of the crates.
To satisfy the need of an even more effective handling of the sow, Jyden Bur has developed the new, optimized JB6000. Better working conditions are one of the main benefits when choosing the JB6000.
Mainly the new JB6000 separates from the JB5000 by being designed with lower parts in both sides of the crate. The rear gate has also been made with a few changes, lowering the height with 15cm and with more space at the center of the rear gate. For that reason, the JB6000 provides plenty of space when handling the sow for insemination, vaccination etc.
The JB6000 is definitely made with benefits of saving time for a professional pig production.
“The JB6000 fulfills the practical needs of any pig production. With a considerable easier access for the staff, the free stall system is even more useful for servicing than any other free stall system”, says Export Manager John Kongsgaard, Jyden Bur.
