Lallemand organized the first International Swine Technical Meeting in Madrid, Spain, which brought together around 150 swine experts from 26 different countries.

At this event, we preserved the same scientific philosophy that has guided us for many years at other events like the LEVUCELL SB International Meeting, and we took it a step further by extending our focus to innovative Lallemand Animal Nutrition solutions specifically tailored for the swine industry.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to delve into the main trends and challenges currently facing the swine sector. We also highlighted the latest scientific advances in modern swine nutrition. Notably, our discussions centered around how yeast-based solutions can positively contribute to improved swine performance and welfare.

Lallemand wants to express its gratitude to all the participants and everyone who helped organize this event and also like to thank VISAVET Health Surveillance Centre. UCM, Campus Del Jamón Monte Nevado, and Kerbest for their warm welcome. And, of course, Lallemand wants to give a special thanks to their speakers for sharing their expertise! Among which was Pig333 giving the talk entitled “Introduction to the Spanish Pig Production System” at the beginning of the event.
