AlltechGlobal animal health and nutrition company, Alltech are calling for final submissions to their first ever graduate program. The program, launched earlier this year, closes for entries on 31st July and offers recent graduates a truly international and unique experience with successful candidates going into future managerial and leadership positions within Alltech.

“We are very excited to offer places to 20 innovative and dynamic graduates to embark on the first ever Alltech Graduate Program,” comments Dr. Pearce Lyons President of Alltech. “I have personally created this program to help young graduates at a time when economic and employment opportunities are diminished. This program will give the best, brightest and most driven graduates the chance to learn, lead and innovate.”

The scheme is targeted at recent graduates with bachelors, masters or doctoral degrees that do not have significant professional industry experience. The 12-month, salaried, executive Program will begin with an intensive training period in Alltech’s European Bioscience Centre in Dunboyne, Ireland and Alltech’s Global Headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky, USA.

“Successful candidates will work with leading industry specialists on research & development, sales, marketing, finance, I.T., operational, engineering and regulatory projects in several areas of Alltech’s business including animal science, aquaculture and agronomy,” explains Program Leader and Alltech Vice President, Steve Bourne. “A tailored route will be developed for each graduate taking into consideration overall business priorities and the profile of that graduate.”

At the end of the program, participants will be ready to play a key role in their new field of expertise, working in one of the company’s 128 offices around the world. To apply for a place, applicants must submit an online application at www.alltech.com/graduate by the 31st July 2012.
