On 1 January, Karsten Ambrosen, 48, was appointed branch manager for pigs in SKOV A/S.
Since 1997, he was manager of the Pig Advisory Centre West in Herning.
Prior to this, Karsten Ambrosen also worked in pig productions. He is a qualified farmer (education certificate) and has a Master of Science degree (Agricultural Science). For five years, he was working for The National Committee for Pig Breeding, Health and Production where he worked on projects within the Danish Applied Pig Research Scheme.
In his new job as branch manager, Karsten Ambrosen is to assist R&D as well as the sales organization of SKOV which develops, produces and markets systems and components for ventilation systems, air cleaning for livestock houses and production control.
