Pfizer Animal Health announces the appointment of Steve Sornsen, DVM, MS, to senior director, Veterinary Business Solutions. In this newly created role, he will be responsible for leading and implementing efforts for the U.S. Pork Business Unit to help expand veterinary customer relationships. He will also provide new, innovative practices and customized solutions for customers' businesses and the clients they serve.
"Steve has always been a great source of leadership and knowledge," says Gloria Basse, group director, U.S. Pork Business Unit. "With this exciting new role, he will utilize this expertise to develop a wide array of strategic solutions for our veterinary customers. Our goal is to be the complete solutions provider for veterinarians, and Steve will help us achieve this goal."
Sornsen most recently served as senior director of Pfizer Animal Health's U.S. Pork Technical Services. In this role, he was responsible for all technical related issues for the U.S. Pork Business and led the highly qualified Pork Technical Services team. Sornsen has been with Pfizer Animal Health for 13 years.
Basse adds, "Steve is always focused on providing value to customers and continually strives to bring improvement to the industry.
