NOVUS International Inc. has signed an agreement with Chr. Hansen Inc. to provide BioPlus 2B to the swine industry in the U.S.
BioPlus 2B is a direct-fed microbial containing two strains of Bacillus. These Bacillus strains can improve the intestinal microbial balance of swine. It also helps improve overall intestinal health, average daily gain, and decreases mortality.
Dan Meagher, vice president, Americas, Novus International, said the partnership compliments the company's GEMS nutrition program and gut health management portfolio.
