Pancosma expands footprint in Asia

Swiss speciality feed additives manufacturer Pancosma S.A. is expanding its distributing network throughout Asia. Though established already in more than 45 countries, the company’s phytogenic product brand for monogastrics namely XTRACT 6930 is now distributed in India by the Varsha Group. Varsha Group was established in 1995 to take up the challenges of changing scenario of the animal health segment in India. The company has been providing many innovative and need based formulations in various animal segments viz poultry, cattle, aqua and pet. XTRACT 6930 is a market leading phytogenic additive in monogastric livestock with strong evidence of performance-enhancement, and animal health related benefits. XTRACT will strengthen Varsha’s mission to supply value-added, innovative and scientifically proven solutions to reduce production costs in the poultry segment as outlined by Dr. B.P. Manjunatha, General Manager Marketing at Varsha.

Dr. Armin Vikari, XTRACT Bioactives product manager, said that the strength of Pancosma is the company`s fundamental commitment to research, and its obsession with evidence-based developments with much focus on plant extracts. “The new agreement will greatly strengthen the position of Pancosma’s phytogenic product range in the expanding Asian market”.
