He will be responsible for the sales and GTM strategies with Perstorp’s distributors and agents, as well as leading and developing Perstorp’s Animal Nutrition sales and technical teams in the Americas.

“I’m convinced that Vilson Simon is the person to help us to continue and expand the momentum we have with our esters of organic acids in the Americas” says EVP Perstorp Animal Nutrition, Roger Mann. “As a Brazilian born, but also a naturalized US citizen with over 30 years of very relevant leadership experience in both North and South America, Vilson is the ideal man for this position. We are all looking forward to working together with him to further build our brand in the Americas.”

Vilson holds degrees in Veterinary Medicine (with Post-Graduation in Poultry & Swine Production), General Management and Agroenergy. The last 15 years of his career saw him in management positions for key industry players such as Cargill, Phibro, Chr. Hansen and Kerry Group.

“With NAE (No Antibiotics Ever) as the new norm, driving the agendas of consumers and animal protein production professionals Perstorp is in a very good position to play a significant role in this continent. Perstorp aims to help facilitate the reduction of antibiotics without compromising on performance and supporting a healthy gut and building a foundation for a healthy microbiome. I look forward to being a part of further building these solutions and launching future innovations," states Vilson.
