Cherkizovo Group OJSC, one of Russia’s leading integrated and diversified meat producers, is pleased to announce further success for its meat products in the “100 Best Russian Products” contest.

Following initial success at the regional competition held in Penza last May, products from Cherkizovo Group’s meat processing facility in Penza have now been recognised at a national level in the final of the “100 Best Russian Products” awards in Moscow.

Products made by the Penzensky meat and poultry processing plant were honoured at the highest level. The jury awarded “Doktorskaya de lux” boiled sausages and “Grand” smoked sausages with Gold Quality Marks, while the quality of “Russian de lux” boiled sausages was also recognised, with a diploma in the finals of the contest.

Sergei Mikhailov, CEO of Cherkizovo Group commented: “We are extremely proud that our products have once again been recognised as among the very best in Russia. Our investment in outstanding production facilities and state-of-art technologies allows us to put the knowledge and skills of our specialist staff to the best possible use. Awards like these offer independent confirmation that our locally-produced meat products are of the highest quality”.
