DLG (German Agricultural Society), the organizer of EuroTier, is expecting about 2,500 exhibitors from around the world to take part in this year’s fair, taking place – alongside EnergyDecentral and the BIOGAS Convention – between 15 to 18 November 2016 at Hanover.
With 2,100 exhibitors from 52 countries already registered seven months ahead of the 2016 exhibition, EuroTier, which is the world’s leading trade fair for animal production, is set to be the meeting place for everyone involved in animal production. Many leading companies have already signed up for this year’s event to present their technical solutions to livestock farmers.
The World Poultry show will also be integrated into EuroTier, and with 270 companies specialized in poultry already signed up for this show, Germany’s Hanover Exhibition Grounds will be a key meeting point for the poultry profession in 2016.
DLG welcomed 156,500 visitors to EuroTier when it was held in 2014. The vast majority of those attending were farmers, including 30,000 from outside the host nation.
Every aspect of livestock production is covered
The subject areas covered at the EuroTier include: breeding stock, breeding programs and reproduction technology; feed production and storage; animal housing, including controlled-environment technology; machinery and equipment for animal husbandry and feeding; milking equipment and milk storage systems; machinery and equipment for storing and handling solid and liquid manure; food processing equipment; and advisory, management and consultancy services.
EuroTier 2016 will also feature EnergyDecentral, which will showcase a broad range of technological developments in the areas of bioenergy, renewable energy and the technology and concepts surrounding decentralized energy. Located in dedicated exhibition halls at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds, this specialist section has excellent synergy with the agricultural livestock technologies featured at the fair.
In addition, the German Biogas Association will hold its new BIOGAS Convention on the EuroTier site for the first time during this year’s exhibition.
International professional program
EuroTier will once again offer an attractive professional program with information, discussion forums and international conferences on current issues, including all aspects of professional animal husbandry and the technologies offered by the exhibitors.
