The date has been reserved and the next Agromek will be from 29 November - 2 December 2022. The agricultural expo was originally scheduled to take place in January 2021 but was postponed in October due to the corona pandemic. So, in collaboration with the agricultural industry, a new date for Agromek has now been agreed.
"Since the postponement of Agromek in January we have been in contact with a wide range of our exhibitors and business partners and our perception is that everyone is looking very much forward to going to the expo. We have all agreed to hold a large and fully represented Agromek and our opinion is that this will be achievable in November 2022," says Sten Andersen, Chairman of Agromek.
The new dates are supported by the stakeholders in Agromek, the Danish Agro Industry and Danish Agriculture & Food Council. Jens-Peter Lundgaard, Chairman of the Danish Agro Industry, is looking forward to bringing the industry together again at Agromek:
"It's in the interests of both exhibitors and visitors that we hold a fully representative agricultural trade fair. We want to assemble the industry and ensure that once every two years we can show the world everything that the Danish agro-industry develops and produces in collaboration with the world’s best farmers. The November deadline is well known in the industry and we look forward to many visitors from both Denmark and Northern Europe," Lundgaard says.
Christian Lund, Chairman, SEGES Livestock supports Agromek, adding: "We all have an interest in the industry having a joint meeting place and Agromek is an important event for farmers and for the many stakeholders in and around the industry, both nationally and internationally. We have a strong tradition in Denmark with a large fully representative Agromek, which contributes to networking, increased trade and development in agriculture for the benefit of the entire industry."
Agromek will be held at MCH Messecenter Herning on 29 November - 2 December 2022.
The last Agromek in November 2018 had 540 exhibitors and was visited by 40,214 visitors from 51 countries.
