Ufac-UK appoints Scottish area manager

Ufac-UK David Turnbull has been appointed area business manager for Scotland and the north of England, by specialist feed supplements manufacturer, Ufac-UK. He will be tasked with developing the company’s existing business and creating new opportunities for their extensive range of products.

Ufac-UK - David TurnbullDavid, who joins Ufac-UK from Genus Breeding, has a solid and successful career in sales and marketing, having held directorships and managerial positions with a variety of companies, including a Scottish-based feed company.

His experience in ruminant animal feeds, genetics and dairy products will be put to good use at Ufac where, initially, he will be concentrating on the ruminant sector.

“I believe that there are great opportunities for Ufac-UK to develop a network of key strategic relationships and provide support for existing customers that will enable the company to grow and improve its market share,” he commented.

David lives with his partner and three children in a farming community in East Lothian, near Cocksburnpath, where his spare-time hobbies include country sports, hill walking and keeping fit.
