Matthew Noble has been appointed area business manager for the North of England and Scotland by Newmarket-based feed supplements manufacturer, Ufac-UK.

A nutritionally-trained ruminant sales specialist, with many years experience, he will be dealing, predominantly, with the trade but will also be providing on-farm advice and support.

Having gained his HND in farm management, he went on to gain further management qualifications through the Open University Business School, before working for a number of regional feed companies developing new business. He then became a self-employed adviser and ruminant nutritionist.

Married with two children Matthew lives in Kendal where his hobbies include fell-running and mountain biking. He is also a volunteer community life support responder for the north-west ambulance service.
