The 10th edition of VIV Asia will mark its position as one of the top-4 international trade shows like never before. VNU Exhibitions and NEO do not only expect significant growth of product presentations among the 500 returning exhibitors, the organisers also foresee many new exhibitors who will participate under one of the three new labels at VIV Asia 2011. Feedtech-Croptech Asia 2011, Laboratory @VIV Asia 2011 and New in Town have been launched to attract new business and serve our loyal visitors and exhibitors even better. To mark the 10th edition, VIV Asia presents Focus 2021, which compromises a range of activities related to the future of our industries in the year 2021, 10 years ahead of 2011. And finally, another big step will be made: the co-location of VIV Asia 2011 with Aquatic Asia 2011, the brand new dedicated event for the Asia-Pacific aquaculture business.

Strong commitment, solid growth

Ever since the start of VIV Asia in 1993, a vast group of international and Thai exhibitors have participated in each and every edition. Their ongoing commitment at ten editions has been a key driver behind the success of VIV Asia. The trade show is renowned as the most reliable and effective marketing platform for the Asia-Pacific industries for animal production and processing. With 5,000 sq.m. of net space already confirmed, VIV Asia 2011 further strengthens this image. Based on current growth expectations, VIV Asia 2011 will be organized in all 3 halls of the BITEC venue.

Feedtech-Croptech Asia 2011

With 4,140 visitors from 79 countries active in Feed milling in 2009, VIV Asia clearly has a leading position as a B2B event for the Asia-Pacific Feed mill industries. To fully benefit from the opportunities in Milling, VIV Asia 2011 will host Feedtech-Croptech Asia 2011 (FCA 2011). With this new initiative, VIV Asia is best positioned to bring together investors, producers and engineers who are active in Milling equipment and related activities for the production of feed, food and fuel.

Laboratory @VIV Asia 2011

In co-operation with Positive Action Publications, the organization presents Laboratory @VIV Asia 2011. Laboratory @Asia 2011 is a specialist event within VIV Asia 2011 developed to give buyers, suppliers, researchers and opinion leaders the opportunity to do business in a customised environment that will attract key laboratory people from across the region. In line with the Feed to Meat concept, Laboratory @VIV Asia 2011 focuses on:

• Animal feed safety
• Food safety including Meat, Egg and Fish safety

New in Town

For the 2011 edition, VIV Asia groups first-time exhibitors within two dedicated pavilions. The New-in-Town Pavilions give suppliers a fair bit of extra marketing power to impress visitors with their knowledge and products.

Focus 2021

VIV Asia 2011 is the 10th edition of VIV Asia. With 10 editions behind us, the aim for VIV Asia 2011 is to look 10 years ahead: Focus 2021. A selection of political, economic and social themes will form the basis for a series of visionary key notes and product awards with a focus on animal production in Asia-Pacific over the coming 10 years.
