At 19:00, Wang Rulin met with the Singapore investors of the first cooperation project in the China Jilin (Singapore) new agricultural cooperative food zone – the one million pig breeding and processing project - Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. Board Chairman Zheng Wenrong and its subsidiary New Food Co., Ltd. President Yun Tianyong, etc.
Wang Rulin expressed gratitude to Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. for its great contribution to the cooperation zone. He said people regard food as their prime want. The launching of the first one million pig project is of substantial significance to the development of the food zone. Our province’s Yongji Chaluhe Specialty Agriculture Economic Development Zone has unique geographical advantage in developing the food industry. With the energetic support of China, Jilin has confidence to use Singapore's advanced management concepts and international marketing network to succeed in construction of the first project and build the park into a world-class safe food production zone. We hope that we could find out a new model to speed up agricultural modernization and promote urbanization through this international cooperation. Wang Rulin evaluated this cooperation to be a cooperation characterized by powerful combination and complementary win-win situation. The successful cooperation of this project will become a new starting point for Jilin Province and Singapore to carry out comprehensive cooperation in wider areas.
Zheng Wenrong said that the company was very pleased but also felt a great responsibility to be the investor of the park cooperation project. The company will contribute every effort to the project construction and operation, to make a good start for the whole park, to be a model for the follow-up projects. Jilin Province boasts beautiful scenery and abundant resources, so in addition to agriculture and food industry, there are good opportunities and great potential for the cooperation between two sides in tourism and other areas.
