Blind grilles have several applications:
- Resting surfaces for piglets in farrowing, transition and wean to finish (all models), isolating them from gases from the pits and air currents that affect them so much. They also provide thermal insulation and are the ideal surface for projecting radiant heat sources.
- Resting surface for sows in farrowing. Installed under the front of the farrowing pen, it is an ideal resting surface, soft and with good grip, minimising problems with shoulder ulcers and damage to the teats.
- Under hoppers and feeders to collect waste in case of poor regulation.
- To cover corridors used to channel air as part of the climate control system.
