Last June HIPRA participated at IPVS 2012 as Premium Sponsor, demonstrating its commitment to the Swine sector with a focus on PRRS, the most important disease for the swine industry worldwide nowadays.
This IPVS was a real success; around 3,000 delegates from the five continents took part in it. And HIPRA’s participation was an accomplishment as since we had guests from 20 countries worldwide.
During the days of the Congress, HIPRA offered a programme of activities to delegates: the “PRRSpectives” HIPRA Symposium, in which the disease was discussed from 3 different points of view: the scientific, the field and HIPRA’s perspective. The Symposium was attended by more than 500 people and included participation by Swine experts from several countries.
In addition, HIPRA took part at IPVS 2012 by presenting 28 papers and 2 oral presentations about very recent topics in swine production like PRRS, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Atrophic Rhinitis, Neonatal Diarrhoea, etc.
HIPRA had also a strong presence in the venue through its new state-of-the-art image displayed on its booth, where delegates also had the chance to join exclusive activities like informal meetings with experts.
By participating in this IPVS 2012, HIPRA states its commitment to help improve swine health prevention knowledge at an international level.
